three global variables
  - voyc.syntaticStructures
  - voyc.semanticConventions
  - voyc.semantics

The first two are human-readable strings using Noam Chomsky's rewrite conventions.

The third is a javascript array of objects.  During startup, the semanticConventions are parsed, each line into an object, and added to the semantics array.
