[[http://ssa.gov | ssa.gov]]\\ Up until 2025 you could login with username and password. Starting in 2025, SSA has outsourced its login security to two 3rd party firms: * [[login.gov]] for US residents * [[ID.me]] for foreign residents Go to http://ssa.gov and it sends you to http://id.me for login and authentication. My login in January 2025 using Firefox failed. Firefox hung and had to be restarted. The Brave browser worked OK.
