To login to your irs.gov account, start at irs.gov.
The system will take you to the ID.me login and then return you to the IRS secure logged in website at https://sa.www4.irs.gov/ola/

What you can do at your online irs.gov account:

• view a transcript for each year, showing agi, taxable income, tax, payment date and status
• make payments
• view payment history and current balance
• view 1040 filing status
• view information return documents. These are the 1099 and 5498 forms provided to the irs by putnam, dws, and others.

What you can NOT do at your online account is to file the 1040. For that, see Income Tax.

You can create an ACH link from IRS to your bank account, using the two micro-payments method. Once that is setup you can initiate payments from your online IRS account.
